Privacy policy
TarteebHome (Private) Limited
Effective date: 18 September 2026
1. About This Policy
TarteebHome (Private) Limited (“TarteebHome”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates the online marketplace at https://tarteebhome.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information when customers, vendors, service providers and visitors use our website and related marketplace services.
Our marketplace brings together furniture, home décor, home furnishings, home services, new and pre-owned products, and made-to-order furniture. Some products and services are supplied by independent vendors or service providers.
This Policy applies to information processed through our marketplace, customer accounts, vendor onboarding, orders, support communications and related business activities.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Customer and account information
When you register, place an order, request a service or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, billing information, account details, order information and communications with our support team.
We may also process information you provide about product preferences, custom furniture requirements, delivery instructions, service appointments or other details needed to fulfil your request.
Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in order notes, messages or uploaded materials.
2.2 Vendor and service-provider information
For vendor onboarding, marketplace administration and settlements, we collect relevant business and contact information, identity-verification details where required, and bank account information needed to make payments.
The information requested may differ according to the vendor’s legal status, products, services and applicable verification requirements.
2.3 Payment and transaction information
TarteebHome receives customer payments through a payment gateway and subsequently settles amounts payable to vendors.
Payment processing involves the relevant payment gateway and financial institutions. We process transaction references, payment status, amounts, refunds where applicable, invoices and settlement records as needed to administer transactions.
We do not ask customers to provide complete payment-card details through ordinary marketplace messages, email or vendor communications.
The handling and storage of payment-card information by the payment gateway is subject to that provider’s applicable terms, security arrangements and privacy practices.
2.4 Technical and usage information
When you visit the website, technical information may be generated or collected, including IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location inferred from technical information, and interactions with the website.
Cookies and similar technologies may be used to support sessions, maintain shopping-cart functionality, remember preferences, understand website usage and measure advertising performance.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Creating and administering customer and vendor accounts.
- Processing purchases, payments, invoices, vendor settlements and related transactions.
- Sharing the information needed to fulfil orders, deliveries, collections, installations and home-service appointments.
- Communicating about orders, account activity, deliveries, service requests and customer support.
- Reviewing vendor applications and maintaining marketplace integrity.
- Handling complaints, suspected fraud, security incidents and disputes.
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the website and marketplace experience.
- Measuring website traffic, advertising performance and the effectiveness of our marketing activities.
- Sending promotional communications where the recipient has subscribed or where the communication is otherwise permitted under applicable requirements.
- Maintaining business records and responding to valid legal, regulatory or tax-related obligations.
We seek to use information for purposes connected with the reason it was collected and will provide further notice where an additional purpose requires it.
4. Multi-Vendor Marketplace and Order Fulfilment
TarteebHome operates a marketplace involving independent vendors and service providers.
When you place an order or request a service, we may share the information reasonably needed by the responsible vendor or service provider, including your name, relevant contact information, delivery or service location, purchased items, order requirements and fulfilment instructions.
Depending on the product or service, delivery, collection, assembly, installation or other fulfilment activities may be arranged by TarteebHome, the vendor or a third-party logistics or service provider.
Vendors receive customer information for authorised marketplace activities and order fulfilment. They are not permitted to use customer contact information obtained through TarteebHome for their own unsolicited marketing.
Where a vendor independently collects information outside our marketplace, its own practices may also apply. This does not authorise the vendor to misuse information obtained through TarteebHome.
5. Made-to-Order Furniture and Home Services
Made-to-order furniture and home-service requests may require additional information, such as dimensions, design preferences, photographs voluntarily provided by you, access instructions, appointment details or installation requirements.
We use and share this information with the relevant vendor or service provider to assess, prepare and fulfil the requested work.
Please provide only the information necessary for your request and avoid including unrelated personal information in photographs or other materials.
6. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Cookies
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads tracking technologies to understand website usage and measure the performance of our advertising activities.
These technologies may use cookies, online identifiers and information about interactions with our website. Information may be processed by Google in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices.
Depending on the features enabled in our Google accounts, measurement information may be used to evaluate visits, advertising interactions and conversions. Advertising personalisation or remarketing will be subject to the settings actually enabled and applicable notice and consent requirements.

Where consent is required for a particular technology or advertising purpose, we will apply the relevant requirements before using that technology for that purpose.
7. Who We Share Information With
We may disclose information to the following recipients where relevant:
- Vendors and service providers responsible for fulfilling orders or service requests.
- Payment gateways, banks and other financial institutions involved in payments and settlements.
- Couriers, logistics companies and installation or delivery providers.
- Website hosting, technical support, communications and other service providers engaged in operating the marketplace.
- Google, in connection with the analytics and advertising technologies described in this Policy.
- Professional advisers, auditors or other authorised business representatives where reasonably necessary.
- Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies and public authorities where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully justified.
We do not authorise vendors to sell customer information or use marketplace-provided customer contact details for unrelated promotional campaigns.
We do not describe necessary sharing with payment processors, fulfilment partners or analytics providers as a sale of customer information.
8. Communications and Marketing
We send communications necessary to administer accounts, purchases, payments, delivery, customer support, vendor onboarding and other marketplace operations.
These operational messages may be sent independently of any subscription to promotional communications.
Where we offer newsletters, offers or other promotional emails, recipients will be provided with an appropriate means of opting out.
Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent us from sending necessary messages about an account, transaction or service request.
Vendors may use customer information obtained through the marketplace only for authorised order-related or service-related communications. Independent vendor marketing using that information is prohibited.
9. Information Security
We recognise the importance of protecting customer and vendor information and seek to apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards having regard to the nature of the information and the risks involved.
Access to personal information should be limited to persons and service providers who need it for authorised business purposes.
No website, electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.
If you suspect unauthorised access to your account or misuse of your information, please contact us promptly at legal@tarteebhome.com.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to applicable legal obligations and our documented records-retention schedule.
Retention periods may differ between account information, vendor-verification records, orders, invoices, payment and settlement records, support correspondence, dispute records and technical information.
Where information is no longer required, we will assess whether it should be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable retention requirements and our operational capabilities.
We may need to retain certain records after an account is closed, including where they are relevant to completed transactions, outstanding disputes, accounting, tax matters or other lawful obligations.
Requests for deletion will be assessed in light of these requirements.
11. International Service Providers
Some service providers used to operate the marketplace, including cloud, communications, analytics or advertising providers, may process information outside Pakistan.
Where such processing occurs, it will be governed by the relevant service arrangements and applicable legal requirements.
The location and arrangements of individual service providers may change as our marketplace develops.

You may contact us to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate account information.
- Request closure of your account or deletion of information, subject to applicable retention obligations and technical limitations.
- Raise a concern about how your information has been used or disclosed.
- Withdraw from promotional communications.
We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before responding to a request, particularly where disclosure could expose confidential account, payment or vendor information.
Some requests may be limited by legal requirements, the rights of other persons, ongoing transactions or records that must be retained.
Privacy requests should be sent to:
legal@tarteebhome.com
13. Children's Information
The marketplace is intended for persons who can lawfully enter into the relevant transactions.
We do not intentionally design the marketplace to solicit personal information from children for independent purchasing or vendor registration.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact legal@tarteebhome.com so that we can review the matter.
14. Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to vendor websites, payment services, social-media platforms or other third-party websites.
Those services may have their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review the relevant notices before providing information directly to them.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technologies or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its effective date. Where a change requires additional notice or consent, we will address that requirement as applicable.
