Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
TarteebHome (Private) Limited
Effective date: 18 September 2026
1. About TarteebHome and These Terms
TarteebHome is an online marketplace operated by TarteebHome (Private) Limited, a company incorporated in Pakistan.
Our website, https://tarteebhome.com, brings together furniture, home décor, furnishings, home-related products and professional home services offered through a multi-vendor marketplace.
The Marketplace may offer new and pre-owned products, ready-made furniture, made-to-order furniture, customised products and services supplied by independent vendors and service providers.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to the Marketplace, creation and use of customer accounts, purchases, payments, deliveries and other interactions with TarteebHome.
By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Marketplace.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law.
2. Our Marketplace Model
TarteebHome operates the Marketplace and provides the customer-facing ordering and payment infrastructure.
We receive customer payments through the payment methods made available on the Marketplace, issue customer invoices and subsequently settle amounts payable to the relevant vendors under our arrangements with them.
Products and services may be supplied by independent vendors and service providers. Depending on the transaction, fulfilment may involve the vendor, TarteebHome or a third-party logistics or service provider.
The identity of the relevant vendor and material information concerning the product or service should be available through the applicable listing or order information.
TarteebHome is responsible for its own obligations and conduct. Vendors and service providers remain responsible for their respective obligations, including the accuracy of information they supply and the products or services they undertake to provide.
Responsibility for a particular transaction will be determined by its circumstances, the applicable agreements and Pakistani law. Nothing in these Terms automatically transfers all responsibility to a vendor or excludes liability that TarteebHome may have under law.
3. Eligibility and Customer Accounts
You must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering, placing orders or communicating with us.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You must not impersonate another person, provide false information, use another person’s payment information without authorisation or engage in fraudulent activity.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate suspected fraud, address security concerns or respond to a material breach of these Terms.
Any such action will be subject to applicable law and will not remove rights arising from transactions already completed.
4. Product Listings and Descriptions
Product listings may include photographs, descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours, finishes, prices, availability, warranty information and delivery details.
Vendors are responsible for providing accurate and sufficiently complete information about their products and services.
Customers should review the listing carefully before ordering, particularly where dimensions, materials, finishes, installation requirements or product compatibility are important.
Photographs are intended to represent the relevant product. Minor differences may arise from lighting, photography or screen settings. This does not excuse a materially inaccurate description or a product that fails to conform to its agreed specifications.
We may correct inaccurate listings or contact customers where an apparent error affects an order.
Where an order cannot be fulfilled as agreed, we will explain the issue and address any payment received in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
5. Prices and Charges
Prices are displayed in Pakistani rupees unless otherwise stated.
Applicable delivery charges, service charges, taxes and other charges should be disclosed before the customer confirms the transaction.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the order summary and total payable amount before submitting an order.
A price or other material listing error does not automatically entitle either party to enforce a transaction on terms that were not genuinely agreed.
Where a material error is discovered after an order has been submitted, we may contact the customer to explain the issue and seek agreement on a correction or alternative.
If the transaction cannot proceed, any payment already received will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.
6. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products or services.
An order may be subject to payment confirmation, product availability, vendor acceptance, manufacturing feasibility, delivery coverage or other reasonable verification.
An automated acknowledgement confirms that an order has been received; it does not necessarily confirm that every item can be fulfilled.
We will communicate material issues affecting an order through the contact details associated with the customer’s account or transaction.
Once an order has been accepted, its agreed terms will govern the transaction, subject to applicable law and any subsequent changes agreed with the customer.
7. Payments and Invoices
TarteebHome receives customer payments through the payment methods made available on the Marketplace.
Payments may be processed using third-party payment gateways, banks or other payment service providers.
The availability of a payment method may depend on the transaction, location and payment provider.
Customers must use payment methods they are authorised to use and provide accurate payment information.
TarteebHome issues customer invoices for purchases processed through the Marketplace.
Vendor settlements are administered separately under the relevant vendor arrangements.
Where a payment fails, is reversed, is disputed or cannot be verified, we may contact the customer and take reasonable steps to resolve the matter.
Payment-related complaints may be submitted to support@tarteebhome.com.
8. Delivery and Fulfilment
Delivery arrangements vary according to the product, vendor, destination and services required.
Delivery may be undertaken by the relevant vendor, a logistics provider or another party arranged through the Marketplace.
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed as such.
Delivery may be affected by stock availability, manufacturing requirements, distance, accessibility, weather, transport disruptions and other relevant circumstances.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information and disclose material access restrictions where reasonably necessary.
For large furniture, this may include narrow entrances, staircases, restricted lift access or other conditions affecting safe delivery.
Assembly, installation, carrying items to particular floors and removal of existing furniture are included only where expressly stated or separately agreed.
Customers should inspect delivered products where reasonably possible and report incorrect, damaged, missing or incomplete items promptly.
Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Made-to-Order and Customised Furniture
Certain furniture may be manufactured or modified according to customer-selected specifications.
These may include dimensions, materials, colours, finishes, upholstery, design or other agreed requirements.
Customers should carefully review the specifications, total price, production estimate and delivery arrangements before confirming an order.
Where clarification is required, the vendor or TarteebHome may contact the customer before production begins.
A material change to agreed specifications, price or fulfilment arrangements requires the customer’s agreement.
Cancellation arrangements may depend on the stage of production and the circumstances of the transaction.
Any non-refundable deposit, production charge or cancellation condition must be clearly disclosed and agreed before the relevant commitment is made and must comply with applicable law.
A product being customised or made to order does not remove the customer’s legal rights where it is defective, materially misdescribed or does not conform to agreed specifications.
10. Pre-Owned Furniture and Products
Pre-owned products may show signs of previous use.
Listings should accurately describe their condition and disclose known material defects or limitations that could reasonably influence a purchasing decision.
Customers should review the condition description, photographs and specifications before ordering.
Normal wear that has been accurately disclosed may form part of the agreed condition of a pre-owned product.
However, the sale of a pre-owned product does not permit false descriptions, concealment of known material defects or the exclusion of rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Home Services
TarteebHome may facilitate access to interior design, furniture assembly, installation, maintenance and other home-related services.
The scope of work, price, materials, appointment arrangements and relevant responsibilities should be agreed before the service begins.
Customers must provide reasonably necessary access and accurate information about the premises.
Service providers are responsible for performing their agreed services with appropriate care and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Where additional work or charges become necessary, the customer should be informed and asked to authorise them before that additional work is undertaken.
Customers may report incomplete, defective or disputed services through TarteebHome’s customer support channels.
12. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Cancellation, return and refund requests will be considered according to the product or service, its condition, the stage of fulfilment, the terms agreed for the transaction and applicable law.
Different circumstances may apply to ready-made products, pre-owned products, customised furniture, made-to-order furniture and services that have already commenced.
Customers may submit requests concerning cancellations, defects, damage, incorrect products, non-delivery or other order problems to:
Please include the order number and a description of the issue. Photographs or other supporting information may be requested where reasonably necessary.
We will assess requests according to the relevant circumstances and applicable legal obligations.
Where a refund or other remedy is legally required, it will not be refused merely because the product was sold by an independent vendor or because a separate marketplace policy has not yet been published.
Detailed operational procedures, eligibility conditions and processing arrangements will be set out in the Marketplace’s separate Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy once finalised.
Nothing in this section excludes statutory consumer rights or remedies.
13. Complaints and Customer Support
Customers may contact TarteebHome about orders, payments, delivery, product quality, vendor conduct, services or other marketplace concerns.
Customer support: support@tarteebhome.com
We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint, including an order reference, relevant correspondence, photographs or other supporting material.
Where a complaint concerns an independent vendor or service provider, relevant information may be shared with that party for investigation and resolution in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will consider complaints in light of the transaction, available evidence and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from approaching a competent consumer protection authority, court or other legally available forum.
14. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors must provide accurate business, identity, product, pricing and fulfilment information.
Vendors must not:
- Publish false or misleading listings.
- Misrepresent product materials, origin, condition, availability or warranties.
- Offer counterfeit, stolen, prohibited or unlawfully supplied goods.
- Conceal known material defects.
- Misuse customer information.
- Send unsolicited marketing communications to customers.
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
Vendors may use customer contact information received through TarteebHome only for authorised order-related or service-related communications.
Vendors are not permitted to use that information for independent promotional campaigns, mailing lists or unrelated commercial purposes.
Additional vendor obligations, including commissions, settlements and account administration, are governed by the applicable vendor agreement and marketplace policies.
15. Reviews and Customer Content
Where reviews, ratings, photographs or other customer submissions are permitted, users must ensure that their contributions are lawful and reasonably accurate.
Users must not submit threatening, harassing, fraudulent, deliberately misleading or unlawful material.
Users must not publish confidential information or content that infringes another person’s rights.
We may review, restrict or remove content that breaches these requirements, subject to applicable law.
Users retain their rights in content they lawfully submit but grant TarteebHome permission to display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Marketplace, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
16. Intellectual Property
The TarteebHome name, branding, original website content and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may access and use the Marketplace for lawful transactions in accordance with these Terms.
Protected materials must not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate authorisation.
Vendors must possess the necessary rights or permissions to use photographs, descriptions, trademarks and other materials submitted for their listings.
17. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with the TarteebHome Privacy Policy.
Information provided to vendors or fulfilment partners must be used only for authorised purposes connected with the relevant transaction or service.
Vendors must not independently use customer information obtained through the Marketplace for unsolicited marketing or unrelated commercial activities.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about data collection, use, disclosure, retention and privacy requests.
18. Prohibited Use
Users must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
- Introduce malicious software or interfere with website operations.
- Conduct fraudulent transactions.
- Misuse payment systems.
- Collect personal information without authorisation.
- Misrepresent their identity.
- Use the Marketplace to facilitate unlawful activities.
We may take reasonable and proportionate action to protect the Marketplace and its users where such conduct is suspected or established.
19. Website Availability and Changes
We aim to maintain a reliable Marketplace but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, hosting issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may modify or improve website functionality from time to time.
Such changes will not remove rights or obligations arising from transactions already concluded.
20. Responsibility and Liability
TarteebHome, vendors and service providers are responsible for their respective obligations under the relevant transaction and applicable law.
Responsibility for any loss, defect, delay or service failure will depend on the relevant facts, contractual arrangements and legal obligations.
To the extent permitted by law, TarteebHome is not responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control or independent third-party conduct for which it has no legal responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
In particular, these Terms do not remove applicable consumer protection rights or excuse TarteebHome from its own legal obligations.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our services, operations or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
Where a change requires additional notice or agreement, we will address that requirement as applicable.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued under completed transactions.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.
We encourage customers and vendors to contact TarteebHome first so that concerns can be investigated and an appropriate resolution considered.
Nothing in these Terms prevents any person from exercising rights before a competent court, consumer protection authority or other legally available forum.
