THE TARTEEBHOME GUIDE
A clear brief helps you and the provider discuss the same job. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
Describe the outcome
Explain what needs to change and what you want to keep. For a repair, describe the damage and how the piece is currently used. For a room project, say whether you need a layout, material advice, furniture changes or a larger interior scope.
Share useful measurements and photographs
Include the room’s length, width and height where relevant, plus door and window positions. For furniture work, share overall dimensions and close-ups of joints, finish or upholstery. Avoid including private documents or people in project photographs.
Identify practical constraints
State the city and access conditions, preferred timing and any building restrictions. Mention occupied rooms, lift access or limited working hours where they affect the work. Do not assume a provider serves your location until that is confirmed.
Agree the scope before work begins
Ask for a written description of deliverables, materials, exclusions, schedule and price. Clarify who supplies materials, handles waste and protects existing furniture. Keep changes to the agreed scope documented.
Compare like with like
Two quotes may describe different work. Compare the specification, preparation, materials, labour, exclusions and follow-up support, rather than only the total price. Ask about unclear items before accepting a quote.
Take the next step
Use the Home Services enquiry route to share a concise brief. Availability, site assessment, pricing and booking arrangements must be confirmed for your project; the service categories on TarteebHome do not promise immediate availability.
