THE TARTEEBHOME GUIDES
Prepare the route and confirm the service scope before a delivery date is agreed. A catalogue listing is not a courier or assembly promise.
Confirm the seller arrangement
Give the seller the delivery city and area before relying on a quote. Ask what the charge covers: unloading, delivery to the room, assembly, anchoring or packaging removal may be separate. Confirm who will contact you and how any changes are handled. A quoted lead time is specific to an agreed offer and destination; it is not a guarantee for another seller or product.
Measure the route
Record gates, building entrances, corridors, lift openings, lift capacity where available, stairs and landings. Ask for packaged dimensions, weights and removable components. Explain parking restrictions, building access rules and floor level. Obtain written clarification when the route is tight. Do not assume a diagonal calculation proves a large item will turn through a stairwell or that a lift can take its weight.
Prepare the room
Clear a safe route and a working area without moving building fixtures or compromising exits. Protect surfaces in a way agreed with the delivery team. Arrange any building permission yourself where required. Keep children and pets away from carrying and assembly work. If old furniture needs removal, confirm a separate arrangement; the new delivery should not be assumed to include disposal.
Check what arrives
Compare labels, quantities and selected options with the order. Inspect accessible surfaces and supplied parts with the delivery team where practical, and record concerns clearly. Keep packaging until you understand the applicable return instructions. Report damage or missing items using the order reference and photographs through the published support route. Do not attempt a repair that could make inspection harder before receiving guidance.
