Shopping and marketplace questions
Is a design preview an available item to purchase?
A design preview describes a catalogue idea and its media. Purchase eligibility requires an actual seller-backed offer and applicable commercial and fulfilment clearance. An internal estimated retail price is not a seller’s selling price. Confirm the selected seller, actual item, specification, quantity or agreed production terms, final price and delivery arrangements. A gallery or video does not independently verify any of these facts.

Why can the same catalogue product have different seller offers?
The Common Product holds a shared catalogue identity. Independent seller offers carry their own commercial details. Compare the selected seller’s SKU, options, price and terms, and retain that selection through the cart. Availability or delivery from one seller cannot establish availability or delivery from another. Ask for clarification when the offer differs from the shared design description.

What should I confirm before choosing a sofa?
Start with your household’s use, the room and the actual seller’s specification. Record overall size, usable seat size, cushion arrangement, upholstery reference and what the price includes. Ask to see the same design from several angles. A studio image can help compare appearance, but cannot establish comfort, construction or available stock. Keep unanswered specifications in the quotation rather than filling the gaps yourself. Then compare the delivery route and the total commitment, including separately quoted transport or assembly.

How do I compare beds with the same size name?
Compare the stated mattress dimensions and complete bed footprint in one unit. A label such as king or queen alone is insufficient for your room or existing mattress. Ask whether the mattress, base, headboard, storage and assembly are included. Mark the proposed outer footprint on the floor and open nearby doors and drawers. For a lifting or storage mechanism, request operating clearance and the supplier’s instructions. Treat catalogue dimensions as unconfirmed until the responsible seller agrees the actual specification.

What should a dining-table comparison include?
Compare the table’s actual footprint, base position and the chairs you intend to use. Count included chairs separately. Check how far chairs move when somebody sits down and whether people can still pass behind them. A room that holds the tabletop may not work comfortably during a meal. For an extending table, ask for both configurations, the operating space and leaf storage. Use a room sketch and the selected seller’s measurements rather than a universal seating promise.

Does a wood name tell me how the whole piece is built?
No. Request a component-by-component specification: visible surface, core, frame, back, shelves, legs and joints as relevant. A veneered surface and its underlying panel describe different parts of the build. A stain colour cannot authenticate a species. The same principle applies to upholstery: record the actual fabric reference and filling information. Our materials guide explains the distinctions and cites the USDA Wood Handbook and Kew. Neither a botanical reference nor a photograph certifies the material in your selected piece.

Does a higher fabric rub count guarantee a longer-lasting sofa?
No. ACT cautions that abrasion results alone do not predict the life of an upholstered product. Ask which test method the number refers to, then consider cleaning instructions, the intended use and the exact fabric. Avoid comparing unrelated test methods as if their numbers were interchangeable. Keep the fabric code and care instructions with the order so a later substitution can be identified.

How should I start caring for wooden furniture?
Identify the finish and follow the supplier’s instructions before applying a cleaner or polish. Conservation guidance explains that humidity changes and strong light can damage wood and finishes; some polishes also leave residues. Keep spills and heat exposure under control. An old, unstable or valuable finish warrants specialist advice rather than a universal home remedy. Record the finish and cleaning method when buying the piece so future care does not rely on guesswork.

How do I measure if furniture will fit?
Get the actual packed or sectional dimensions from the seller. Record the journey from the unloading point to the final position: clear opening widths and heights, corridor turns, stair landings, lift entrance and lift interior. Note fixed handles, fittings and other obstructions. Keep each measurement attached to a labelled photograph or sketch that you are permitted to share. A doorway width alone cannot establish that a long object will turn through a landing. Ask the responsible delivery provider to assess the route and confirm what it can undertake. These are TarteebHome preparation questions, not an access guarantee or a substitute for the provider’s assessment.

Which wardrobe measurements matter beyond width?
Record the room’s height and depth, skirting and other obstructions, door or drawer movement, and the route used for delivery. Specify what you need to store and the proposed internal layout. Ask the installer about wall condition, anchoring requirements and the chosen hardware’s instructions. Do not assume a sliding door removes every access or installation constraint. Resolve site measurements with the responsible supplier before approving a fitted design.

How can I plan a smaller room without guessing clearance?
Draw the room, openings and existing items to a consistent scale, then mark the proposed furniture footprint on the floor. Test the everyday actions that matter: opening doors, getting into bed, pulling out chairs and reaching storage. Measure those actions with the people and equipment that will use the room. Keep any sample dimensions labelled as examples. An attractive layout image cannot prove fit, accessibility or safe passage for your own household.

Artisan and Pakistani craftsmanship
Does Chinioti-inspired mean made in Chiniot?
No. A design can reference a craft tradition without establishing where or by whom it was made. Chiniot’s district history records the city’s woodworking tradition. For an individual purchase, ask the seller to distinguish style inspiration, workshop location and documented production. Keep those statements with the actual order. Avoid turning a style label into an unsupported origin or wholly handmade claim.

What can I check when comparing carved furniture?
Compare the complete silhouette and close-ups of the same piece. Look at the relationship between carved parts, corners, joints and the surfaces people touch. Ask which elements are hand-carved, machine-shaped or separately applied, and how that scope will appear in the order. Photos help identify questions; they cannot certify a hidden joint or a manufacturing process. Include rear and side views and agree a sample or detail where the carving is central to the purchase.

Can I turn an inspiration image into a custom furniture brief?
Use it to explain the qualities you like, then write a separate brief for size, function, construction, finish and budget. Use your own or permitted reference material and avoid requesting an unauthorised copy of a protected design. Label proposed details clearly. The maker must confirm what can actually be built, the final specification, price and fulfilment. Submit an enquiry through the existing customisation route; submitting a reference is not a manufacturing acceptance or an order.

Seller registration and marketplace operations
What should a prospective seller prepare?
Prepare accurate business and authorised contact information, product specifications, permitted media and the terms you can actually fulfil. Be ready to confirm the selling price, stock or legitimate made-to-order arrangements, handling, coverage, returns responsibilities and any required documentation. Use the existing seller application and read the applicable agreement before acceptance. Applying does not imply approval, guaranteed sales, a courier contract or a settlement schedule.

Can a seller offer a shared catalogue design immediately?
A shared design is a starting identity, not evidence that a vendor can manufacture or supply it. The seller needs to verify the actual product, specifications, rights, price, availability and fulfilment before a commercial offer can be accepted. Keep differences explicit and seek the marketplace’s review where the physical proposal departs from the design. Do not turn an estimated design specification into a confirmed manufacturing claim.

Which fulfilment facts need explicit agreement?
Record the real origin, permission for any customer pickup, operating hours, packaging, product handling limits, approved coverage, agreed rate or quotation process and who handles damage, assembly and returns. Confirm destination-specific arrangements for bulky items before making a customer promise. A stored address, map pin or positive database quantity alone does not establish these permissions. Use the seller application or support route to resolve missing information.

How do I check delivery, returns or a problem with an order?
Use the current listing, selected seller’s agreed terms and the marketplace’s published policies together. Do not infer a delivery zone, pickup permission, rate or return destination from a shop address alone. For help, use Contact Us with the order or enquiry reference and relevant seller or product link. Never send passwords, card numbers or one-time codes. The team can review the case; a submitted enquiry does not itself confirm a refund, booking or service commitment.
